Working together
Pilots, partnerships and factory data are covered by a separate written agreement.
Built by Opti5 LABS
The team behind YarnOS is here to answer questions about these terms.
YarnOS is developed by Opti5 LABS (“we”, “us”, “our”), based in Colombo, Sri Lanka. These terms cover your use of yarn-os.com (“the site”), including its pages, waitlist, contact form and booking calendar.
They are adapted from the Opti5 LABS Website Terms of Use. They govern this public website. Validation partnerships, pilots and commercial work require a separate written agreement.
By browsing or using the site, you accept these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using it. They apply to every visitor, including prospective partners and existing clients browsing outside an engagement. If you act for an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept them on its behalf, and “you” includes that organisation.
The site is for adults aged 18 or over. By using it or submitting details, you confirm that you meet that requirement. If a child has sent us personal data, email legal@opti5labs.com so we can remove it.
While you comply with these terms, you have a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to access the site for your own information or your organisation’s internal purposes. All other rights remain with us or the relevant owner.
You must not:
We may investigate suspected breaches, block access and report apparently unlawful conduct to the relevant authorities, cooperating with them where appropriate.
When you join the waitlist, contact us or book a meeting, you confirm that your information is accurate and that you are entitled to share it. You must have a proper basis for providing anyone else’s personal data.
Please do not send confidential factory footage, production records, proprietary information or commercially sensitive material through the forms or booking notes. Sending material this way does not itself create an obligation of confidentiality. Ask us to put a non-disclosure agreement in place before sharing sensitive material. Personal data remains covered by our privacy policy.
A waitlist entry, enquiry, booking or reply does not create a contract, guarantee access to YarnOS, reserve a pilot place or oblige us to undertake work. An enquiry does not oblige us to respond. Any engagement starts under a separate written agreement.
The site’s text, design, layout, graphics, images, video, animation and code belong to Opti5 LABS or are used under licence. Our names, logos and brand assets are protected.
You may read the site, keep a personal reference copy, share links and quote short extracts with attribution to YarnOS and Opti5 LABS. You may not republish substantial portions, use the content commercially, claim our work as yours or imply an association or endorsement through use of our branding.
Other organisations’ names, product names and logos belong to their respective owners. Their appearance identifies those organisations and does not itself imply endorsement.
The site provides general information about YarnOS. Demonstrations, workflows and examples are illustrative. Descriptions of planned capabilities, validation work or potential benefits are not an offer, a warranty of availability or a guarantee of results for your factory.
We take reasonable care with the content, but do not warrant that it is complete, accurate or current at every moment. Nothing here is professional, technical, financial or legal advice. Speak with us or a suitably qualified adviser before relying on it to make decisions.
Our privacy policy explains what personal data we collect, why we use it, who handles it, how long it is kept and your choices. Read it alongside these terms. Where both documents address personal data, the privacy policy governs.
Links to Opti5 LABS, social profiles and other websites lead to services we do not control through this site. They are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement. Their own terms and privacy policies apply, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.
The booking calendar is supplied by Cal.com. Opening it connects your browser directly to that provider, which receives technical information and may set its own cookies. Our booking calendar privacy section explains this and the alternative of arranging a meeting by email. We do not control the provider’s independent handling of information.
These website terms are not a services agreement. A validation partnership, pilot or commercial engagement requires a separate written agreement signed before work starts. That agreement covers the relevant scope, deliverables, timelines, fees, ownership, warranties, confidentiality, data processing and liability.
Factory footage and records are handled under the separate agreement, usually with an NDA, as explained in our privacy policy. Nothing on this site is a quotation or creates an engagement.
If a signed agreement and these terms address the same matter for an engagement, the signed agreement takes precedence for that engagement. These terms still govern general use of the website.
The site is free to access and provided “as is” and “as available”. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part without notice. Access may be interrupted by maintenance, technical issues or circumstances beyond our control. You are responsible for your equipment, connection and appropriate security measures.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim express and implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free access, accurate or complete content, correction of defects, or freedom from viruses and harmful components, although we take reasonable care.
Subject to the protections in the next section, we are not liable for the site being unavailable. Nothing here excludes a liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or anything else that the applicable law does not allow us to exclude or limit.
Subject to those protections and to the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive losses, or loss of profit, revenue, business, opportunity, goodwill, anticipated savings or data, however arising and whether or not the possibility was brought to our attention.
Our total aggregate liability for all claims connected with your use of this website is limited to USD 100, whether the claim arises in contract, tort (including negligence), statute or otherwise. This limit concerns the website only; a separate engagement agreement has its own liability provisions.
If you are a consumer, you retain any statutory rights under the laws of your country of residence that cannot be changed by agreement.
You agree to indemnify us for reasonable losses, damages and costs actually incurred from third-party claims caused by your breach of the rules in Using the site, unlawful use, or submissions that infringe another person’s rights or contain harmful content.
This applies only to your own acts or omissions, and not to the extent our breach, negligence or wrongful act caused or contributed to the claim. We will notify you promptly, allow you a reasonable opportunity to participate in the defence and seek your consent before settlement. You agree not to withhold that consent unreasonably.
We may restrict, suspend or withdraw access where we reasonably believe you have breached these terms, or where needed to protect the site, our systems or visitors. Where practical and lawful, we will explain why. This does not limit other remedies or obligations intended to continue.
We may revise these terms to reflect the site or legal requirements. The effective date above identifies the current version. For significant changes, we will take reasonable steps to draw attention to them. Continuing to use the site after revised terms take effect means you accept them; otherwise, please stop using it.
Send formal notices to legal@opti5labs.com. They are treated as received on the next business day after transmission. We may notify you using an email address you supplied or a notice on the site. An email notice we send is treated as received after 24 hours unless we receive a delivery failure indication.
You may not transfer your rights or obligations without our prior written consent. We may transfer ours to a successor following a business reorganisation, change of legal entity or transfer of some or all of the business, provided this does not reduce your rights under these terms.
If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, it will be adjusted only as far as needed to make it enforceable, or removed if that is not possible. The rest remains effective. Delaying or failing to enforce a right does not waive it, and exercising a right partly or once does not prevent its further exercise.
These terms and our privacy policy form the entire agreement about your website use and replace earlier understandings on that subject. Separate engagement agreements remain independent. You confirm you have not relied on assurances outside these terms; nothing here limits liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Provisions intended to continue survive the end of your use, including content ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, the entire agreement provisions and governing law.
These terms and disputes connected with them or your website use are governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
Before formal proceedings, please contact legal@opti5labs.com. We will engage in good faith for 30 days to try to resolve the matter directly.
Unresolved disputes fall within the jurisdiction of the courts of Colombo, Sri Lanka. Either party may seek interim or injunctive relief from any competent court, including to protect intellectual property or confidential information or address misuse of the site.
Consumers retain mandatory protections available under the law of their country of residence and the right to bring proceedings there where local law provides that right.
For questions about these terms, formal notices or concerns about use of the site, write to Opti5 LABS at legal@opti5labs.com. We will respond as promptly as we reasonably can. For general YarnOS enquiries, you can also reach the team at yarnos@opti5labs.com.
